PRESS RELEASE
Palmer Honors Chiropractic Technique through Creation of Registry
As long-standing leaders in the area of adjustive technique, the Palmer College campuses are dedicated to the continued study and perfection of the techniques that doctors choose to implement in practice. As the art of chiropractic grows and evolves, it is reflected in the quality of care that our profession provides to our patients generation after generation. Palmer is proud to have the ability to offer a Technique Registry service to the entire chiropractic profession through its Institute for Professional Advancement.
With the primary goal of recognizing leadership in the art of chiropractic, the Palmer Technique Registry recognizes and maintains record of those chiropractors who have successfully completed advanced studies in specific chiropractic adjustive techniques.
“The registry features multi-level recognitions that reflect a doctor’s time spent in seminar-training and competency in testing,” stated Laurie Mueller, D.C., director of continuing education for the Palmer Institute. “We offer certificates to display in-office, as well as an online resource for peers and potential patients.” Gonstead Technique was the first to be included in the registry, and now Thompson Technique will also be available for testing in Summer 2006. Over time, more techniques will be added.
“There are great numbers of dedicated doctors who attend specialty technique seminars year after year simply because they want to provide the best care possible for their patients,” stated Dr. Wayne Zemelka, chairman of the Thompson Technique Committee. “We feel privileged to finally have a resource that will recognize our hard work and dedication to hone our expertise in specific adjusting methods.”
